 In 1998, three people with time on their hands and a love of fast-moving objects decided it might be fun to share their interest in shiny machines with the people of Atlanta, GA. They purchased a blueberry farm at the intersection of Alpharetta Highway (Route 9) and Upper Hembree Road in Roswell, GA - and after many, many trips to the City of Roswell's Design Review Committee built what is today known as Atlanta Motor World. | AMW sells Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda, Ducati, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi motorcycles, dirtbikes, ATV's and personal watercraft. And don't forget you can buy those popular Yamaha jet boats here too. AMW also offers a full line of Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda, Ducati, Arilia and Moto Guzzi parts and accessories, including a whole wall of cruiser chrome. Thor, Joe Rocket and other great brands are also well represented here.  We are dog lovers and have always had a Labrador Retriever at the dealership who is ready and willing to greet you and get a pat on her head.
Our original yellow Lab, Sandy, who helped tirelessly in getting the dealership up and running from day one, passed on to the big Motorsports dealership in the sky in September of 2005. You know, it is the one where every customer brings her a treat or toy and has time to play a few minutes. It is also the one with a big lake next door for her to swim in and woods to romp in. |
 When you visit our store these days, expect to be greeted by Misty, the wonder Lab, who is vigilant on duty except when she is taking a lot of nap breaks. She is full of energy and wants to greet everyone and get a pat on the head so please feel free to say hello! |
